This Compliance & AI Ethics statement outlines our corporate code of conduct, data governance standards, and ethical framework for the research, development, and deployment of artificial intelligence systems.

1. Ethical AI Development Principles

As an AI engineering and consulting firm, we recognize the profound impact that automated decision-making and generative systems have on society. We adhere to the following core tenets in all AI projects:

1.1 Transparency and Explainability

We build AI systems with auditability in mind. Wherever feasible, we document model architectures, prompt configurations, data lineage, and decision paths. We strive to provide explainable outputs so that human operators understand why an AI agent reached a specific conclusion.

1.2 Accountability and Human Oversight

We advocate for the "Human-in-the-loop" (HITL) architecture for high-stakes decisions, particularly in finance, cybersecurity, and operations. AI should augment human intelligence, not replace human accountability. Our models include safety boundaries, logging, and override mechanisms.

1.3 Fairness and Bias Mitigation

We actively identify and address biases in training data, custom weights, and fine-tuning pipelines. We design systems to treat users fairly and to avoid reinforcing historical, social, or systemic inequalities.

2. Business Integrity and Compliance

2.1 Anti-Bribery and Corruption

We operate with a zero-tolerance policy for bribery, kickbacks, and corruption. Xorblin employees, partners, and contractors are strictly prohibited from offering or receiving gifts, money, or favors that could improperly influence business decisions.

2.2 Fair Competition

We compete fairly and ethically. We do not engage in price-fixing, market division, or anti-competitive behaviors. We respect our competitors and win business solely through our engineering capabilities and customer service.

2.3 Intellectual Property Respect

We respect the intellectual property of others. We do not utilize pirated software, unlicensed libraries, or proprietary datasets without express authorization. We ensure all open-source models and libraries are utilized in accordance with their licenses.

3. Cyber Defense and System Security

Security is a core compliance requirement. In addition to client-facing cybersecurity audits, we secure our own operations by:

• utilizing end-to-end encryption for client communications and code repositories;
• enforcing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) across all corporate systems;
• conducting regular internal audits, threat modeling, and code security reviews.

4. Training and Enforcement

All Xorblin employees, contractors, and partners are required to review this Compliance and AI Ethics statement annually. Violations of these principles are subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of contracts and legal action where applicable.
